Frenchtown, NJ - Machineart, Inc., an industrial design and product development firm, announces the launch of MachineartMoto, an online marketer of specialized products for BMW R1200 series motorcycles. Andrew Serbinski, President of Machineart, stated "Powersports Products are a long time interest of ours and we have identified an opportunity to develop great looking and functional aftermarket products for BMWs that can't be found elsewhere. than BMW’s standard safety bar. X-Heads are pressure formed in polycarbonate, a tough engineering plastic that will not crack or puncture, protecting the magnesium cylinder head cover from breakage and loss of oil.
Other products currently in the line are designed specifically for the R1200GS to improve its appearance and provide functional benefits for the street oriented GS rider. Slipscreen is a stylish sport screen ideal for summer riding. Its low profile allows clean air flow at helmet level to reduce wind noise while providing a still pocket of air up to chest level. Slipscreen mounts with the stock fasteners. Shortnose is a 4" shorter alternative to the stock GS beak, considerably improving proportions while retaining BMW's intended look. It is made in fiberglass and epoxy resin and available in primer or color matched at extra cost. Fenda17 is designed for GS 17" front wheel conversions and is the only product available that is designed to fit and look right. It is made in fiberglass with a gloss black finish. Fenda19 is a sleek, lightweight carbon fiber replacement for the stock GS front fender designed to continue the lines of the telelever arm and visually integrate the front fender to the chassis.
